Atlas Air Crash Investigation

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has annnouced that they have completed an initial review of the cockpit voice recorder from the Atlas Air Boeing 767-300ER Freighter that crashed southeast of Houston on 23 February. They have further stated that they will be analyzing the flight data recorded that was recovered on 3 March.
The agency says that “crew communications consistent with a loss control of the aircraft” began 18s prior to the end of the cockpit voice recording. The audio is poor during certain parts including leading up to the crash in Trinity Bay.
On 3 March, an NTSB team fished the flight data recorder out of Trinity Bay and the device arrived at the agency's lab that same day. The NTSB says it expects to issue an investigate update "in a few days", after investigators verify and validate the data.
Boeing to reveal 777-9

Boeing has announced that it will make the public debut of the 777-9 at an event at its Everett plant in Washington.
“Our very first 777X flight-test airplane will officially debut to the world on 13 March”, says Boeing, The event will be live streamed.
The 777-9, which is the larger of the two GE Aviation GE9X-powered 777X family variants, is due to enter service in 2020.
Beijing Daxing International airport nearing launch

Beijing says that Daxing International airport’s facilities and equipment have met operating conditions, and is due to open before 30 September.
Feng Zhenglin, head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, says that the target is for work on the airport to be completed by the end of June.
The target is for Daxing International is to achieve a passenger numbers of 45 million in 2021, and for the figure to reach 72 million by 2025.
